Join the Shred Girls For a 3-Day Training Camp in Duntroon, Ontario This Friday, May 18-20th
Join longtime cycling coach Peter Glassford, coach/Shred Girls author Molly Hurford and several guest coaches for 3 days of training, adventures, and learning! Riders will be training daily while learning about training nutrition and the fundamentals of success for endurance racing.
The camp is about taking your riding to the next level. This camp is meant to help riders who are new to the sport or who have not found a group to train with consistently. This weekend will aim to communicate and demonstrate the things you can do to get to the podium and eventually towards provincial and national team level.
If you are new to cycling or several years into racing there will be something for you here. You’ll end the weekend with a better understanding of how to train efficiently, how to use the road bike to train for any cycling discipline and how to ride in a group, how to structure a season, plus how to recover and eat right and add strength and yoga to your schedule. Plus, you’ll have a ton of fun meeting other girls who ride and race in the area—and there will be bike skills games!
